Well I have decided to listen to some of my friends and do this. I was told if I wait any longer for God to send that special man to my front door with a bright green neon sign that says, "God has sent me I am the one", I will be single for a long time since I am never home. I don't have anything or anyone to stay home for. I am kind of old fashion when it comes to dating and going out to meet new people. I am a simple southern LA girl that likes the simple things in life. I'm not into the fancy expensive things in life. I dedicated my life to my daughter as she was growing up and now I stay busy with my grandkids. Being with my family and friends is all the riches I need. I believe family and friends make you a happier person not money.


I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, spare of the moment road trips to anywhere, playing with the grandkids at the park and even acting like a kid sometimes with them, hiking, going for walks, whitewater rafting, playing in the rain, doing anything outside on a beautiful day. Sometimes I enjoy just acting lazy and snuggle on the couch watching movies, surfing the internet, or just listening to music specially on cold rainy days, or sitting on my porch with a cup of coffee

I've had some major changes in my life in the past few years, some by some choice, several were not, but they have all turned out to be for the best and I wouldn't change any of them. I enjoy going to the beach and try to go when I can get away. Like to read, love to sew, spending time with friends. I have 2 kids and I recently became a grandma and that little girl has stolen my heart! Last year I discovered that I still enjoy being on the back of a motorcycle...so if you ride, that is definitely a plus!

I work as an administrator in a school system. I am focused on staying physically “fit”. I tend to lean towards, or favor men who are slender. I am well educated, having received a PhD from a large mid West University. I am somewhat reserved, in my mannerism, but I am quite fun loving with a great sense of humor.
I have been widowed for three years. I had a wonderful marriage. Therefore, I love being in a relationship, and fiercely committed to it. My entire life has been based on love; as a result, I have a lot of love to give.

I am a conservative dresser, with a lot of style. I love to travel, I have really enjoyed going on cruises. However, I also like beach vacations as well as going to the mountains… visiting historical places, going to museums of all kinds, and antique shops. I live in a super in town community. My personality is kind of quiet, I have many friend but only a handful of good friends. I'm still getting used to being retired and can't get over being a morning person without having to be somewhere. Have spent 35 years in research labs and loved every minute. I am a strong but not overbearing person. The first meeting should be just coffee or even a phone call. Best place - would be a nice restaurant conveniently located between both individuals. In addition, I enjoy special times with my children and grandchildren. Truly love spending time with good people. Enjoy watching and attending football games (I know how to yell and was a school cheerleader), baseball games, ice hockey, and professional golf. Have attended the Masters golf tournament since 1975 and still going. (season tickets) Like country & western music by certain artists. I have a very positive outlook on life. I believe you have to make your own sunshine. Like to travel. Enjoy dining at nice restaurants, listening to beach music, riding my bike and life in general.
